Licensing

Welcome to my art licensing page. If you are an art licensing company, I invite you to take your time and view all the many designs I have available on this site, my own as well as the designs of my advertisers who are primarily fellow floorcloth artists. It has long been a dream of mine to have my designs reach far beyond just the floorcloths to sheets, tablecloths, place mats, pottery, note cards, calendars and all sorts of wonderful accessories for the home. You can also find many more possible images at my other art website: www.studiobliss.com.
Please see some art licensing terms below I feel are important and need to be included in a contract.

Artist Terms for Procedures of Art Licensing Acquisitions:
Verification of seller’s revenues:
Artist shall have the right to inspect Licensee’s books and records concerning sales of the Licensed Products upon prior written notice. Sellers records to be inspected: Financial statements, income tax returns, sales backlog, cash deposit records, accounts payable/receivable, financial comparisons of similar businesses, etc.
Royalty payments shall be paid monthly on the first day of each month commencing the signing of the agreement, and Licensee shall with each payment furnish the Artist with a monthly statement of account showing the kinds and quantities of all Licensed Products sold, the prices received therefore, and all deductions for freight, volume rebates, returns and allowances. Accompanied with the Royalty payments, Licensee agrees to furnish the Artist with customer contact information for the promotional use of the Artist. The exception being contacts that request that their information be kept “in house” and held as “private” information with the Licensee only. The Artist shall have the right to terminate the agreement upon thirty days notice if Licensee fails to make any payment required of it and does not cure this default within said thirty days, whereupon all rights granted therein shall revert immediately to the Artist.
